| Slit3

Slit homolog 3 protein is a protein that is encoded by the SLIT3 gene.The protein encoded by this gene is secreted, likely interacting with roundabout homolog receptors to effect cell migration. Two transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.Diseases associated with SLIT3 include Coffin-Siris Syndrome 2 and Cakut. Among its related pathways are Nervous system development and Development Slit-Robo signaling. Gene Ontology (GO) annotations related to this gene include calcium ion binding and Roundabout binding. An important paralog of this gene is SLIT2.
